On the 30th, we had a long driving day to Kangaroo Island. We needed to make the 4:30 ferry across the water to our next adventure. Once there, we still had almost an hour drive to our cabin (Seal Bay Cottages). A quaint, rustic cabin on 35 acres ... without all the fancy amenities. The restaurant had an excellent burger. And, many koalas, including one outside the registration office, and one outside our cabin.
The car ferry from mainland Australia to Kangaroo Island. About 45 minutes.

A dead snake. We had seen many snake warnings, but this one was the only one we saw.
A kangaroo outside our cabin. It is dusk, so the picture isn't great.
