Singapore National Museum

Jenna had a Girl Scouting outing to the Singapore National Museum on Saturday, and she picked dad to go with her.  What I didn't know, was that I would not be allowed to actually go with her, but had to leave her with her troop for the two hour period.

So ... while she was enjoying the museum, I also wandered around the surrounding area (mostly outside) and finished up in the museum when I needed to cool off.

Sacred to the memory of Mr. John Hide, Gunner of H.M.S. Renard who departed this life 4th April 1860.

Sacred to the memory of Thomas Richards, Late Chief Steward of the steam ship Bincaporl (spelling?) who departed this life on the 25th December 1862 Aged 27 Years.  The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away.  Blessed be the Name of the Lord.
