Final Swing Set Pictures

I think they are going to miss the swing set in the back yard. Our Singapore place will not have enough grass for any sort of play structure, although, there is a park at the end of our street that I'm sure we will visit often. Additionally, the Singapore Botanic Gardens is only 1 train stop from our house, and has a great Children's Garden for them to enjoy.

A Change For Anna

Two exciting things for Anna. Top braces off. New glasses. She loves both.

Moving Truck Day

There was a whole week of packing, wrapping, more packing and more wrapping before the big truck showed up on Friday. Everything ready for the long ship ride to Singapore so that we can enjoy our own stuff. The girls did great, as we said goodbye for a little while. See you in Singapore.

A beautiful day to leave the furniture outside as they decide the order to pack the truck. Notice how everything is wrapped tight.

The three girls ... hoping not to get left in the tuck. It appears that we are only 3/4 full, so maybe we should have taken more stuff?

Our first Peoria friend, Miss Scarlett from down the street. In our moving in day in 2007, she showed up at the front door and entertained Anna and Emily the whole day at her house. What a wonderful lady.

"Bridging" Ceremony - Girl Scouts

Anna participated in a bridging ceremony as she moves up one level for Girl Scouts. She had lots of fun do a dance routine, walking over a bridge, and getting a special good-bye from her troop before we head to Singapore. What a fun night we had.

Emily's Kindergarten Program

Emily had her first school program last week, and she did a wonderful job.  Our shy little girl is growing up, and we believe she is really enjoying school (most of the time).  Here are just a couple photos from the evening.

Emily and her friend Alex (back row with the flowery skirt) at the program.  Alex lives just a couple of houses down and Emily considers her a best friend.
Keegan and Tatum (friends from church) and the billy goats during the program.

Wilder-Waite Pictures

As school comes to a close, we took some pictures outside of Wilder-Waite Elementary School so that they can remember where they spent there first few years at school. What a great school for them to start out in.

Last Day in Peoria House

Sunday, May 6th was the last full day in our Peoria home before our move to Singapore.  The weekend was very busy with last minute items, making sure we were ready for the movers that came on Monday.  Monday was very busy as well, but the movers move fast and lots got accomplished.  Here are just a couple of pictures from the last 24 hours.

Air Shipment area ... this should beat us to Singapore.
Emily, with her snaggle tooth, hoping it comes each when she eats watermelon.  Maybe ... it will come out soon.
