Eli and Jude come for a visit

Eli and Jude came down from Milwaukee to visit. We had a great time playing, dancing, sword fighting, playing air hockey, eating, taking rides in the Jeep, etc. And, we celebrated 3 birthdays (Jenna, Anna and Jude). The pictures tell the real story of the weekend.

Where, oh where is Jenna?

Just before dinner, the girls appeared downstairs...sans one. "Where's Jenna?" Mom asked. "What?...isn't she down here?" was the reply. Anna went back upstairs to look around and found this little cherub catching a late afternoon snooze....

Anna's 7th Froggy Birthday Party

Anna had a number of school and church friends over for a party. They celebrated her 7th birthday in style, with a frog theme. There was singing, dancing, pin the tongue on the frog, and other fun stuff. Happy 7th Birthday (Jan. 25th) Anna!

Happy 2nd Birthday Jenna

Our little Jenna turned 2 on January 17th (Sunday). She hasn't mastered the question "how old are you", as the most common answer is 7 or 9. We had a wonderful time celebrating her birthday, eating cake, and playing. What a sweet little girl! Now, we just pray that the terrible twos aren't really that terrible.

Fun with Christmas presents

We got the girls their first set of Lincoln Logs, and as I told my wife, I think they are my favorite present from this Christmas. We have had lots of fun building and playing together. Anna and Emily are figuring out how to build things, and so its lots of fun to play .... all of us. Even Jenna, in her destructive ways has fun. And, yes, instead of cowboys and indians, those are chipmunks living in the log cabins.

Wii fun

Santa brought Wii Sport Resort to our house, and the little girls have gotten hooked on several games. The ultimate sword challenge between my 6 year-old and 4 year-old. Emmy (4) came out the winner in this round, but its a tough battle when they get going. Full of laughter and little screams and they battle for who gets thrown over the edge into the water.
