Anna Has An Adenotonsillectomy...
...or, Anna has her tonsils and adenoids removed! We arrived at the OSF Center for Health Surgery Center at 8:30 am on June 21st, with high hopes of improving Anna's quality of life. We were not disappointed. After a successful (and pretty quick) surgery, Dr. Gootee informed us that he had removed tonsils the size of ping pong balls from Anna's throat! Functions that the rest of us take for granted (like breathing and sleeping soundly) are on the horizon for little Anna. She plans to lie low for the next week or so, enjoying movies, books, computer games, and lots of sweet treats.

Poor girl! She's gonna kill you guys someday for posting all these pictures of her--like in the sleep clinic and this! Hope she recovers quickly! Send her our love!
