9:00 PM - The first real snow plow just drove down our street. Now, I get to go dig my driveway out ... but that will probably wait until the morning.
4:00 PM - Watching my neighbor, with a really big snow blower, do in about 30 minutes what it took me 2 hours to do. Snow plows still haven't visited our street. 15 inches is what they are saying Peoria got, but due to all the blowing, spots are much deeper than that.
12:03 PM - First vehicle down our street at 11:30. Blazing through to make it to their house. Finished shoveling and snow blowing (thanks to a great neighbor). Now to wait until the snow plow comes and buries the drive way again.
8:00 AM - Not sure how much snow. Blue skies at the moment. No tracks on our street yet today. The snow drifts are pretty cool, but the wind chill is terrible. Electricity still on (thankfully).
11:00 PM - Possibly 10 inches of snow by now. The wind is very strong. We had some huge rolls of thunder during dinner tonight (with lightning). No traffic on our street for quite a few hours. Not sure how fun this will be when I have to go shovel. Girls are quietly sleeping. Time for us to go to bed as well.
2:00 PM - 2 inches last night. Storm started about noon today. Maybe another 2 inches by now. Van stuck on our street in front of our house. Wind howling. School cancelled today and tomorrow. Bad news, Jenna has ear infection and possibly strep throat.
