An Evening Out

Since several in the house hadn't felt well this weekend, we were mainly inside folks this weekend.  The little girls and I (dad) did go to the swimming pool on Saturday ... while Kristin and Addlea stayed home to try and feel better.  So, Sunday evening, we decided to go for a drive and dinner at a Hawker Centre (cheap food places).  So, off to Upper Peirce Reservour.  Better known as the place with monkeys.

Here the girls are walking along the reservour, trying to look normal.  I'm not sure it really worked (i.e., them looking normal), but it was a beautiful peaceful walk.

The beautiful scenery of the walk.  It had rained a good bit of the afternoon, so it was foggy/misty, which created this mystic type of scene.  Absolutely beautiful.

Oh yes, and we did meet a few dozen monkeys wondering what we were up to.  Now that we are smarter (see previous post about being growled at by the monkeys), we stayed at a respectful distance.  These pictures were taken from the van as we drove along the road.

And, a wild Singapore boar.  A rare sight, which we were thilled about.
