We spent Easter weekend enjoying God's creation on Bintan Island, Indonesia. Bintan is located a short ferry ride from Singapore, so it was quick and easy from a trip perspective. We had heard mixed reviews about Bintan, so we weren't sure what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised, and had a wonderful time, coming back with both souveniers and sunburns.
Thursday evening we left for Bintan on the ferry. Very convenient - a 45 minute ride from Singapore to Bintan Island. Mom and Emily enjoying the nice ride.

And now, time for the beach and the pool. Emily was willing to be buried in the sand, and then the water started to splash over her as well - and still a smile!

We spent many hours of our day at the pool. But no one complained!

And plenty of exciting activities happening during the day. Here is a picture of Lady Gaga being chased in the pool by the resident shark. There were lots of people, including Spiderman, Superman, Indiana Jones, James Bond, Luke Skywalker, etc that came to save Lady Gaga ... but couldn't. Kept the kids entertained.
