Home Leave - A Visit To The Farm

One afternoon, we went to visit Terry on the "old farm" where I grew up.  It was an adventure to see his Highland Cows (Scottish breed) in the woods.  Terry raises them as grass fed animals for butchering to sell the meat as a healthy alternative to the corn fed cows.

And one Emily story from our day at the farm.  Terry was telling us all about the grass fed cows and how that results in lower cholesterol in the meat.  Additionally, he had mentioned that he didn't have to cut the grass himself around the cabin, since the cows were free ranging.  We didn't think Emily was really listening to all of this until she pipes up with ... "that's a lot of lawn-mooers you have".  That's our quiet and funny little girl!!!
