The Highland Cows, with their large horns. Really amazing to see up close.
A young calf (over 1 year old) along with our "guide dog", who is almost the size and fluffiness of the cow.
The younger calves, less than 6 months old.
Cabin built by Terry in the woods. Rustic, but very nice.
Crossing the bridge to the log cabin. A pretty exciting adventure for three little city girls.
Finishing out our adventure ... and following the lead dog.
And one Emily story from our day at the farm. Terry was telling us all about the grass fed cows and how that results in lower cholesterol in the meat. Additionally, he had mentioned that he didn't have to cut the grass himself around the cabin, since the cows were free ranging. We didn't think Emily was really listening to all of this until she pipes up with ... "that's a lot of lawn-mooers you have". That's our quiet and funny little girl!!!
