Waiheke Island
Waiheke Island is a small island not too far from Auckland (45 minute ferry ride). The island has been many things through out the years, including a mental asylum, artist colony, farming community, and now resort and wine island. Several beautiful beaches, lots of art shops and some really good pizza ... and we had a good day.
