Weekend with the Jorgensons

Jim, Marette, Tyler and Baihley spent the weekend with us, just goofing off. We celebrated Jenna's, Anna's and Marette's birthdays, which was lots of fun.

They actually had more fun than this next picture might portray.

Anna turns 6

Yesterday we had a birthday party for Anna. She loved it. She had some very sweet friends from church and school over to celebrate with her. It was crazy at times, but enjoyable. Here are just a few of the pictures. And yes, Kristin made the Ariel cake (our family tradition).

Yes, Jenna turned 1 today. She loves making monkey sounds, so Kristin made her a monkey faced cake. She wasn't too messy with it - I guess she wasn't in one of those moods. We are definately blessed to have little Jenna in our lives!!!

Brrrrr ... and other happenings

Brrrrrr, it is cold here today, and with a lovely fresh 5 inches (or so) of snow, we look (as well as feel) like the North Pole. Anna will miss at least two days of school because of either snow or the very cold temperatures (Thursday high of zero degrees). Here are a couple lovely pictures of the snow at our house.


Speaking of Anna, she was invited to a birthday party for this weekend ... by a boy from her kindergarten class. As I was talking with the mom of Jake, I mentioned that we hear alot about Jake at our house, and ... believe it or not ... she hears alot about Anna at her house. That sounds like trouble to me!!! Well - it made it even worse when I get off the phone and looked at Anna - and she starts to blush. I can't believe that my little 5 year old (almost 6 year old) is blushing because of a boy. I definately am not ready for this yet as a dad.


Jenna is moving around quite a bit on her own. I guess we can call this walking by her first birthday. She is more mobile at an earlier age than either of her sisters. We will try and post a video of her mobility soon.

We made it into the New Year

Even though we haven't posted any pictures lately, we have made it safely into the new year. We have been busy with New Year's Eve parties (Aaron stayed up all night with the youth group at church), sinus infections, warm weather, cold weather, and trying to get back into the normal swing of things. So, in a random order ... here are some pictures from the last week and a half where nothing really exciting happened around our house.
