Play Time At Plantation Bay (#2)

Another big hit was Archery and the Rock Climbing Wall.  Archery they thought was cool, but unfortunately, they only had an adult bow, so it was very hard for them to pull it back.  So, they did recreate Narnia or Brave for very long this time.

Check out the concentration and the crinkled nose on this girl.

Success.  Every arrow found the target, her best score was a blue.

Rock Climbing.  I was sure how this would go, but they said they wanted to give it a try.  Dad went first and showed them how to do it ... and after that ... they sure didn't need me.

This is a picture of the scale of the rock wall.  Pretty big for two little girls.  There were 3 courses, easy, medium and hard.

Anna - succes getting to the top of easy, now for the ride back down.

Anna completed the easy course, the medium course, and this is a picture of where she couldn't go any higher on the hard course.  What you can't see is the slant, so her feet dangle if she goes any higher.

Emily even gave it a try and got half way up both the easy and the medium course before her short body couldn't reach the next peg.

Good thing Emily was wearing a helmet.  On her one trip, when she swung out to come down, she swung all the way back and bumped her head on the wall.  All smiles though.
