The next few days we spent on Phillip Island, which is a short drive outside of Melbourne. Phillip Island is most famous for its Penguin Parade that happens every night at dusk. Unfortunately - no pictures are allowed ... but we did officially get to see Penguins. We were all so thrilled with that. Here are some of our adventures from our first day on Phillip Island.
Our cabin ... three bedrooms, two baths ... with full kitchen. Almost fancy!!!
A stop along the beach for some rock climbing ... a favorite of three little girls.
The Nobbies, for some beautiful rock formations, some supposed Seals (which we didn't see), and a few Penguins.
There's a Penguin ... cute, little and blue.
Our first official Wallaby sighting in the wild.
Photos from the internet on the Penguin Parade. It looked just like this. Quite amazing, except that it rained on us for a few minutes.
